The Vendée Globe 2024 confirms itself as the most challenging and fascinating competition in the world of sailing. On November 10, 40 skippers will depart from Les Sables d’Olonne to undertake a solo, non-stop round the world trip. With a regatta village spanning 30,000 square meters and one million visitors expected, the event promises unique emotions. The fleet includes six female skippers and 14 international participants from 11 countries. The race, reserved for IMOCA60 boats, offers a prize pool of 800,000 euros.
